About me
I am “Charley”, a second-year honors student at the University of Georgia. I am a journalism major pursuing a general business minor and a sports media certificate.
As a student of the Carmical Sports Media Institute, I have gained hands-on experience broadcasting, reporting and expanding my story-telling abilities. So far, I have enjoyed taking the courses Topics in Sports Media and Introduction to Sports Reporting and Writing.
I have developed skills through working at Camp High Harbour, shadowing with DawgsVision, and building a foundation in sports broadcasting, with plans to join Georgia Bulldogs Sports Marketing this fall.

Camp High Harbour
Attending for 14 summers, I have worked at Camp High Harbour on Lake Burton for the last four. This past summer, I worked as the Program Director of Watersports, where I administered and actively taught hundreds of campers how to Wakeboard and Waterski.
During my previous summer working at Camp High Harbour, I had the privilege of volunteering as Head Counselor of Media. In this position, I was tasked with photographing a specific quota of pictures each day. I also assisted in capturing videos to create a weekly recap using Canon and GoPro cameras and the DaVinci Resolve software.
